"Unless you are
faithful in small matters, you won't be faithful in large ones.
If you cheat even a little, you won't be honest with greater
responsibilities."
- Luke 16:10
What should I look for
in a web host?
First, look at the service plan.
What does the plan offer and how does it compare with the current
market. You might be surprised to know that our One Plan
Hosting package featuring 500 MB of web space for $50/year has been
offered for over 3 years. A list of Christian Web Hosts can be found at
Angelic
Hosts.
Be suspicious if a site offers
“unlimited” anything. Only
God is truly infinite in his attributes!
We offer 5 gigs of transfer per month because we guarantee that
we can support that much traffic to your site. This amount is ample
for most clients. To date, we have never billed a client at the
$.50 cents per gig rate for going over his/her monthly transfer limit,
although we reserve the right to do so.
It would be wise to get an insider's report concerning a particular
service.
You could email clients and ask them whether they have enjoyed a product or
service. If clients with well
designed websites like a particular web hosting company, most likely you'll
be pleased with that web host too. Clients can provide you
feedback on server stability and speed, along with an estimate of
technical support response times. You might also consider whether a host would be a good steward of its funds.
Comparing web hosts should be a fun experience. Be patient in your search.
