Our Domain Name Servers
(DNS) are ns1.pjlhosting.com and ns2.pjlhosting.com
Information on
Pointing Domains
Every domain is pointed to a server through its "Domain Name Servers"
(DNS). In order to utilize our web hosting, you will need to
change your domain's DNS to ns1.pjlhosting.com and ns2.pjlhosting.com.
Once you point your domain to our DNS, it may may take anywhere from 1
minute to over a day for the updates to be recognized by local ISPs.
You should see a "welcome to your
new website" page at YourDomain.com
when your domain's DNS has finished propogating. Until then, you can upload your website and configure your domain
using the temporary instructions provided in your instruction sheet.
If you registered your domain name through a registrar, you can change the DNS of
your domain by utilizing your registrar's control panel. If your
former web host registered your name for you, you can ask them to change
your DNS for
you. Your web host will most likely let your domain expire if
you are no longer hosted with them. Before your domain expires, you should
perform a registrar transfer so that you are in full control of your
domain name.
We recommend our sister site,
PJLDomains.com
for domain name registrations.
